Who We Are
You are the heart of Sister Corps — a nationwide network of volunteers committed to making a real difference. Our mission is to serve and strengthen communities through hands-on projects that bring hope, healing, and restoration — whether after a disaster or through ongoing support like environmental cleanups, cemetery restoration, or community maintenance. Our vision is to create a trusted sisterhood of service — one where women support each other while improving lives and landscapes, one project at a time. Since 2017, Sister Corps has grown from a small group of determined women into a powerful force for good. We've worked on everything from major disaster relief to painting community centers, restoring overgrown cemeteries, and hauling muck buckets. Every effort — large or small — matters.
What We Do
As volunteers, you bring this mission to life. Through projects like Sequoia Sisters, local cleanups, minor repairs, and community beautification, you're helping communities stay strong and connected — even when there isn’t a disaster. These projects often go unnoticed, but they are just as vital. We build our impact around: Hands-on action: Whether it's scrubbing, sawing, painting, or planting, you show up and get the job done. Teamwork: We operate in groups, sharing the load and supporting one another — no one works alone. Flexibility: From those with tools in hand to those offering skills from home (communications, logistics, data), every contribution matters. Compassion in action: It's not just about the task — it's about caring for the people and places we serve. Through your dedication, Sister Corps continues to be a beacon of strength, kindness, and connection in communities across the country.
