San Angelo, TX (Tom Green County) experienced a devastating flood event July 4, 2025, on the northern and eastern portions of the city where 10 to 15 inches fell, marking this as the highest one-day rainfall total recorded in the city's history. A flash flood affected 12,102 structures and 6,157 individual parcels, resulting in the city, being declared a natural disaster area. Homes and buildings were submerged in waters as deep as 15 feet in some places.
Sister-Corps will partner with local disaster relief organizations to provide rebuilding assistance throughout the community.

Your team will consist of both seasoned volunteers and eager learners under the direction of a team lead.
Project Dates
March 19, 2026 (Thursday): Advance team arrives to review work and create team assignments.
March 20, 2026 (Friday): Meal Team Leader and Medical Team Lead arrive.
March 22, 2026 (Sunday): Volunteer Check-In between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM.
Power Tool Safety Verification Testing — TBD.

March 23 thru March 27, 2026 (Monday thru Friday): Workdays in the San Angelo, TX area.
March 28, 2026 (Saturday): Break down camp and travel home. Departure before 11:00 am.

Registration Details
Sunday through Saturday.
Cost: $138.00 non-refundable but transferable.
The fee includes accommodations, meals and the required T-shirt uniform. Our Meal Team accommodates a broad range of dietary needs to ensure everyone is well-fed and ready to work. Meals will be provided Sunday night thru Friday night.
NOTE: Mealtimes double as group meetings and training sessions, as needed.
